We called that our AC wasn't working on Thur & they were out on Fri. The Griffin technician advised us of our issue & the cost, but also checked to see if AC Unit was still under warranty & it was! Although, we had to wait a full wk before the ordered part came in, Griffin's technician was able to fix our AC within 15-20min!

I scheduled a system inspection and tune up. Billy H arrived on time after calling to let me know he was on the way. He was courteous and professional as well as mindful of COVID protocol. He took the time to explain what he was doing, why, and what would indicate there was an issue, even before he performed.Changing my overall assessment of Griffin. We have had several visits, each with a different tech, since my initial review. It Definitely depends on who arrives to perform your service. Some techs are primarily interested in up selling, regardless of if you really “need” it. Leak check was going to be $450.00, I called another contractor who did it for $180 and found the leak- in a defective solder on a part replaced by a griffin tech two years ago- glad i didn’t pay that 450.Also, recently had scheduling problems that resulted in me taking a day off for nothing because they overbooked.I have found a new contractor

Ac broke down just hours before tenants were checking in on a Saturday. Previous companies I called would not guarantee they could come. Griffin couldn’t promise a time but assured us they would be there. They showed up within 2 hours and had everything working properly before tenants arrived. I signed up for their maintenance plans and they were kind enough to waive the weekend emergency charge. Would highly recommend.

I allowed mysef to be talked into a service contract but 1 week later in 90 degree weather they blithely yes blithely, smoother than an oil slick informed me that “oh, we’re sorry but we’re so busy we won’t get to you for 3 days. ……………..THREE DAYS! I complained and the oil slick got even smoother. 1st I was on hold for over 1/2 an hour. I hung up and dialed apologized again and they promised they’d send “Nick” the next morning. The next morning,……. NO NICK. !!??I called again and , guess what, no answer just the usual “we’re sorry we can’t answer your call please leave a message” . So, I looked once again at the lovely promotional material paying attention to the “24 hour service part” and all the pretty smiles and, said to myself, Mike, you been “had” you been “HORNSWAGGLED” .Let my experience be your guide. .

James arrived on time to convert and hookup my LP gas stove/electric oven. He was very knowledgeable and completed the job quickly and efficiently. He also explained everything about the gas functions of the stove and answered all of my questions. As an added bonus he asked about any other plumbing issues that we may have.This is not the first time that we have used Griffin Services and they always do a great job and have very responsive customer service.

Dustin did an outstanding job on a small gas leak from our built in bar-B-Q. While he was here we had him put a shut off valve in the garage as the builder had not done that. Also did an outstanding job. Work quality was outstanding. Dustin was very knowledgeable and provided solid advice. I intend to make Griffin Service my go to provider going forward.

Griffin did a complete HVAC system dismantle and replace. They replaced outdated, deteriorating heat pumps and attic ducting in our almost 4K square foot home. They were very professional from the minute we called, and the "teams" were very neat and professional too.We would highly recommend this company to anyone needing service.

Had a water leak on one of our AC units. Found it quickly. Reworked some of the piping insulation and grommet and sealed it so no more condensation should drip out. Did a nice job of cleaning up work area.

The Griffen Service team showed up on time and got right to work replacing 2 HVAC systems and a duct cleaning. They were professional the entire 10 hours they were there and cleaned up after themselves. They took extra care to even mop the floor after they swept. The price was fair as well! I would highly recommend them.

I hired Griffin Services to install a gas line for my pool heater which involved quite a bit of work to dig, run the line, and connect to the pool equipment.Dustin from Griffin services did an outstanding job. His attention to detail, work ethic, and communication were most excellent. I really liked that Matt was very clean cut as well as had a nice clean truck. He was very handsome, with no visible tattoos or dread locks. He was very nice and experienced and professional. This is the first time I’ve used Griffin Service and James Bowers was the ultimate professional! He diagnosed our problem in minutes and offered a quick and cost-effective solution. Had 2 issues within 3 weeks. Rental property, tenants with an infant and toddler. 80-90 degrees in the condo. Tech was supposed to order the part, says office didn't order it, missed appointments, finally paid for and installed the part. Still no air. Disconnects between tech and office continued for 2 weeks. Next appointment, another expensive part needed, more delays, had to furnish the family with a space cooler at our expense. Finally fixed today.Our home ac went out Thursday, called, no service scheduled until Monday. Took off work, got a call from the office, rescheduled the appointment for Tuesday. Stayed home from work again. 1:00 tech arrives. Ask about the maintenance agreement we'd paid for in January, due to his "diagnosis " of our situation and he verified we should have already had 2 service treatments, no one had come all year. Told him I wanted a full refund, said he called the owner, Tom, and he'd perform maintenance today and in December, so I agreed. I literally have no idea what he did, but came back inside and tried to sell me a new $7,500 ac! Said ours was almost 10 years old, I replied that was why we got the maintenance agreement last year. Ended up charging is an additional 1,200+, and here's the kicker, it's 81 degrees still in our house! Called them AGAIN, have to stay home from work again tomorrow (day 3), no honoring the service agreement, no relief, no nothing. This company used to be really good. I have no idea what's wrong. But between these 2 experiences, I'm about done.

Dustin was the professional I look for when having work done on my house. He presented my options, advised me based on the criteria and needs I presented to him and worked to make our decided course of action a reality all within the same day visit. Griffin got a plumber out same day due to the severity of the situation with water damage that was causing the garage ceiling to cave in. James P arrived and identified multiple issues immediately and was able to complete the repairs quickly and professionally. Griffin had replaced a water heater for me a couple years ago and I was very happy with their service then, which is why I called them again. Thank you for your prompt and excellent service. I highly recommend, James! He went above and beyond to help us understand the issue with our gas line. He was very accommodating, knowledgeable, professional and personable. We moved into our house two days ago. We have an outdoor fireplace that we didn’t know how to operate. He examined it and explained, in detail how to safely operate it. Additionally, our water softener was full of water, no visible salt. He examined it for us and explained that we need to add salt crystals. He said after we add salt and it doesn’t work to call him and he’ll come back and check it again.We are very satisfied with the service provided.Thank you, James .

A/C wasn’t blowing cold. Called Griffin bc they had very good online reviews. Tech was prompt, courteous and professional and diagnosed the problem as a malfunctioning $65 capacitor. Ended up costing me $548 which is an absurd rip off for a simple 20 minute fix.

We are experiencing Air Conditioning issues. After dealing with another AC Company in the area and their unprofessional back office staff, We call Griffin on a Friday. They were very professional and understand Customer Service and relations. They had a technician scheduled to come to our house that same day. The Technician Deklin Casey arrived in less than 8 hours. Deklin sent us a text prior to arriving with a picture of him so we knew who to expect. Deklin when he arrived was wearing a Griffin uniform and was very professional. He did a very good job in verifying the issue with the AC unit and explaining it to us. He hoped he had a motor on his truck but he did not unfortunately. It was tough spending the weekend without HVAC, however I feel that Deklin and Griffin will do everything they can to get the part and get our AC unit up and running quickly. I learned a valuable lesson in selecting Services companies to perform work for you, it is not always best to go with the company that installed the unit, they are companies that do volume work for builders and do not understand customer service. I will always in the future go with true service companies that understand customers and work for the individual customer and not a large builder. Take it from someone who is in the customer service business that Griffin is a very good choice. 09/11/2023 Deklin and Griffin did another great job in finding the part that was needed for my AC unit, Deklin drove and picked it up and made the repairs and checked out the system all by noon. We know have AC and are very happy. I will use Griffin moving forward for all my HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical needs.

*UpdateSince I have a service contract with them, I decided to give them another chance. While they did cancel on me the first time I made this appointment, at least they contacted me this time and had a good reason for why they couldn't make it this time. The recent hurricane had set them behind in their appointments, so that makes sense.Today's service was for A/C maintenance. The technician was very personal was really nice and did a really good job. He he showed me the work he did, and I appreciated that.The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars this time is I still think they could work on better communication. Communication is very important to me. It's difficult to get an actual representative on the phone instead of a 3rd party call center, which is what you will get 9 times out of 10. I don't really get a response on text message or Messenger either.I'll update this review as we do more business in the future. Hopefully, they are receptive to some constructive criticism.Overall I was very satisfied with today's service.*Original ReviewI originally really liked this service. They did great work and were responsive, kept me up to date on what was going on. That was over 2 years ago.As of writing this today, I had a confirmed appointment to have a broken water pipe fixed. We had no water. I missed a whole day of work just to find out that they were not going to be making it today. I tried to call and text just to find our exactly what happened. I just didn't get any answers. I called, I got some kinda call center they have setup who told me they would try to get their dispatcher on they line. There was no response. The last text they sent me was they would be here after 2pm, but no other response after I texted them again after 4pm had passed. I texted them on Facebook, and I just got an apology, but still no answers about what was going on.I had to give up on them. It's now past 7pm and I called another service out to help me, which showed up literally within a few minutes of me calling. If you want to know who helped, it was Kingdom Based Plumbing. If they do a good job, you can bet I'll let everyone know.As of now, I'm probably never going to use Griffin Service again. I had been a good customer to them. I called them for whatever I needed, including installing a complete A/C system on our home. There is no excuse for how poorly Griffin Service handled this.

After speaking with two other A/C repair companies that could not fix our problem and we’re very insistent we have to buy a new unit. I took one more shot with Griffin. Dave B showed up on time, literally took about 15 mins and said “ I can fix that”. We were worried about the cost and longevity. After some military discount and Dave making a phone call it was very reasonable. Well less than half the price of a new unit. He made a plan to come back the next day due to the old refrigerant he needed. Once again, he showed on time and got right to work. Took pics of the repair for me, showed me the pressure test and hung out while the house cooled down to make sure we were good. We even paid for the service plan. Thank you Dave and Griffen team so much.FYI. I set up the umbrella, chair and cooler with drinks for him. Respect your trade masters !!

I. was out of town when I was alerted to a possible leak in a hose bib. I called Griffin Plumbing as they have helped me out with other plumbing issues. A very short time later I received a text from James B to say he was on his way. James gave me a call to make sure we were on the same page. He fixed the problem then called me back to let me know the water was back on. I felt dealing with him over the phone was incredibly easy and professional. Thumbs up for James.Every experience with Griffin has been outstanding and I will continue to call them with any future plumbing issue.

Justin was really nice and very professional. He got to our house quickly on a Sunday and fixed the issue in a timely manner. We’ll definitely use Griffin again next time.

I’ve had their service for 3 years and for at least two years. We are a Gold Service Member paying a monthly fee for Gold Level Service. I’ve had them come out at least 5 times to figure out what is wrong with our CAC not cooling properly. Each time they come out, we spend anywhere from $400 to $600 for something that doesn’t fix the problem. Now, we have no AC for two days and when I call to check on the timing of arrival they say we are trying to get someone out there. What it seems to me is they have too many Gold Service Customers and not enough technicians to support the customers. I also under that it is Florida and AC issues are voluminous. What we expect is clear communication as far as there are 10 Gold Service customers ahead of you. Instead we hear the unknown. I specifically asked how many technicians are on call and how many customers are ahead of me and that could not be communicated. That seems very disconcerting and but of smoke and mirrors.

I recently had the pleasure of working with electronic technicians for a repair job, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. Great communication as I received both text and email alerts to let me know the technician was on his way. Edon did a great job diagnosing what was going on and put in the extra effort to make sure the fix was working before he left. Pricing was very fair for the time spent completing the repair. Would work again with them in the future!!!

I was so impressed by the quality of work. Not only did they install a ceiling fan they inspected all my other outlets in my home and recommended additional repairs that I certainly will follow up with and will without question calling the company back. I highly recommend calling them for your electrical needs.

Had service call on AC unit, and had to squawk to get someone out despite paying $25 a month to get timely service. Tech was fine but salesman promised a reliable system to replace a carrier system that was still under warranty. He said they stock units and parts so either could repair same day or drop in a replacement unit on the off chance this reliable unit failed. I get no call back from the service manager.

I scheduled an appointment with Griffin Service. They rescheduled my appointment four separate times when they finally came out I was told everything was fine with my unit. The technician said my condensation line might be clogged you pay $300 a year for their maintenance plan thanking they would be the ones to clean that out so the technician pulled the sensor out and left it hanging I wanted to get a second opinion so I went with another heating and cooling company, they immediately found that the condensation pan at the bottom of the inside unit was clogged up and mildew buildup on it. I will not be coming back to Griffin Service after this last experience.
