Improperly installed a new unit and duct work. The unit never worked properly, even after over 12 call backs within the 1st 2 years including the former owner coming to look at the unit. We hired a third party home inspector who found the unit and duct work were installed improperly, and had been air conditioning our attic instead of upstairs, while creating black mold from the condensation in the duct work they improperly installed and charged us extra for. My son has been sick constantly from the black mold since, and we are out 7K in replacing the duct work, 5k and counting from redoing drywall, taking a room down to the studs, etc. We still constantly deal with the lemon unit they installed every time it is hot, constantly pulling water off of it. RUN AWAY. Working with the state on a formal complaint, as we have pictures and documentation. I will never recoup all the weeks my young son has missed school, felt horrible, etc. I'm angry. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We selected Griffin Services to install a gas line for our new pool heater. They were not the cheapest quote, but they were fair, on time, knowledgeable, and professional. During the process, the local gas company dropped the ball and did not install a regulator going into the house that left us with no hot water. Our Griffin Services Specialist, Dustin Williams, came out to our house at 10:30 pm on a Saturday night, to make sure we would have hot water until the gas company returned to complete the installation. I would HIGHLY recommend Dustin Williams and Griffin Services where customer service is a premium.

Chris peek came out to give us an estimate to replace our water heater. He was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond to help us get the water heater installed asap. He worked late the next day just to get us hot water. He was here until 9 o’clock trying to get it fixed for us. We are new to the area and have found our new plumbers! If you need electrical work, this is the place. Charles was the lead tech on my job and Andrew assisted. Charles installed 40 new canless lights for us at Switzerland Community Church. He and Andrew were excellent! Charles was professional, respectful, motivated, hard working and attentive to detail. You cant go wrong with him. He cares about his work!

I called Griffin on a Thursday morning. They had repairmen out within 2 couples. the repairman Lukas was polite knowledgable- diagnosed my issue within minutes and had my AC running within an hour. I was only allowed a 5 star review but I would give more stars if allowed!

I have used Griffin in the past and was pleased with their speedy service and hard work. This time was not like that. I was scheduled for an estimate on 9/30 in the morning then called later that day and informed they needed to reschedule due to plumber being stuck on another job. That is fine and I understand my issue with the company is following that. I was rescheduled for 10/1 for 8a-12p time slot. When I finally got through to someone at 4p because nobody had called or showed up they informed me they had me for the afternoon. Mind you I have a text saying otherwise. They weren’t able to have a plumber come until almost 7p so I had to reschedule for the following day due to having a young child going to bed. Then I get a call this morning and all the sudden was going to have to pay $123 for them to come out for what is listed as free estimate on their website. I was never informed of this the other days so I cancelled. Very disappointed and will be looking for a new company.

Mr. Joel Acay General Manager- I am sending you this email to share my experience with Griffin installing a new Lenox AC at my home on 6/20/24. You may recall the conversation we both had a short time ago about concerns with this unit. Let me share with you a quick outline of what I have experienced since this unit was installed:The day of the installation, the technicians apparently broke a part on the new unit which required an additional day with no AC while we waited on the replacement part to be sourced. The first rep Griffin sent out confirmed to me that the techs had broken a part during installation. Soon after the installers left, I noticed that the outside unit was making a loud humming noise and even louder pulsing noise. I called Griffin and set an appointment for a rep to come out and look at it. The rep that showed up advised it was indeed louder than normal as he could clearly hear it out in the street from his truck. He said nothing could be done as it was considered normal however, he set up another appointment with him and a rep from Lenox to come out and listen to it. After waiting ALL DAY with NO contact from Griffin, someone from Griffin FINALLY called me back at 6:00 pm to advise they would not be out as the Lennox rep was ill. Really? This was only after I made several calls to Griffin asking when the reps would be out.Shortly after this, I contacted Lenox directly to see what could be done about the noise. They said I would need to contact your company again. This is when I spoke with you requesting assistance. You were kind enough to send another technician out to look at it at which point he told me AGAIN nothing could be done. Keep in mind, this unit is so loud it keeps us awake at night with all the humming & pulsing noise. The noise is coming through an exterior wall, an interior wall and a large walk-in closet with 4 racks of clothes which should buffer some of the noise.At this point, I contacted Lenox again and they directed me to contact a Lennox Premier dealer near me which I did. Several days later, they sent two foremen to inspect the system. They found numerous issues with the installation that needed to be corrected. Please see the attachments to this email which details their findings. Not included in their written findings, they also discovered the air filter was installed backwards. Additionally, the drain pan extension that was part of the original unit, was discarded by the technicians and never installed. I had to pay for a new one to be installed. There was enough water in the pan to fill a 5 gallon shop vac. In 28 years of living here, I have NEVER has standing water in the drip pan. I am thankful the company caught it before it overflowed. The new company told me the installation was very shoddy and they had to make repairs, level the system out, tighten up nuts & bolts and include a U bend on the outside line set to stop the pulsing noise. They went over the system completely and made multiple adjustments and the unit has now quieted down to an acceptable level.I paid Griffin $13,000 for this unit, believing Griffin would stand behind their product and their work. It cost me an additional $2200 to make the system operate as it should. I think the fair thing would be for Griffin to compensate me for the additional money I spent because no one at Griffin would admit there was a problem. I will have this unit for many years and would like to feel better about my decision to go with Griffin. Joel Acay is the GM and he refuses to take my calls and will not return my emails. The company finally sent a snippy email reply blaming me for having another company fix what they screwed up and refused to repair 3 times. Absolutely terrible customer service from this company. Stay far away from this company and don't waste youy money on them. Go elsewhere.

Fantastic and quick service. I was out of town and had water damage that uncovered a poor install from the previous owner. Essentially the electrical conduit that was powering outlets on my island was 2" above my slab and needed to be buried. Griffin and specifically Joseph were phenomenal to work with. Technician did a fabulous job, my three year-old Daikin keeps clogging up the drain line and he gave me helpful hence to help this from continuously happening. I flush it every month, but that’s not enough to keep it from clogging up. Very informative to help me take care of my unit.

It is nice that there are still hard working people and good companies because the last AC company I had come out charged me over $200 just to tell me what was wrong with it and then wanted another over $700 to fix it. I like Griffin because they charge a flat fee to diagnose the problem, appointment scheduling is easy and pricing is straight forward. Our technician Brandon called before he arrived and was at my home for about an hour, fixed my AC (it would only run hot air.) He was very quick, professional, respectful and gave us some very helpful tips to keep our AC running and extend the life of the AC. Definitely recommended.
